The evolution is towards globalization, the age of nations is soon passing, even our politicians realize this on the highest level, economics is intertwined so deeply now you can't serparate. You can believe what u wish but the same results appear when you apply humanism & naturalism then blended with a deism if you choose. God is love? So is most every human mother that ever gave birth & nursed her young from the dawn of time that would die protecting her young or the father that would as well. So religion wins no prize there, nature trumps you by one million yrs. I have seen many changes in the way human acceptance & tolerance has been achieved across a wide array of popular culture & i can tell my friend that is was not achieved by Billy Graham or the evnagelical religious movements, they had to be dragged kicking & screaming all the way for all the sermons. What has occured on these levels of human tolerance & "love" was a natural unfolding of various humanist movements within society , an evolution thru education & exposure to multiculturalism but glad your catching up. One of the greatest modes of human interaction was thru trade, (beg borrow or steal), human beings with some specialities & skillsets evolved in their own special environments given the material, this exchange is what has been adding to human advancement evolution all the way down the line. The Greeks new this when they connected with all parts of the world in their time, Alexander when he conquered all the way to India. Like it or not this is the way of things , your deism is fine but its a natural process.
