And you should know the Democratic party during slavery was the conservative party in Lincoln's time (or the pub party today). the abolishionists were liberals and people of conscience like quakers.

You didn't know that, or are you twisting the truth like you always do?

Lincoln's Republican party was the liberal party of the day.

It was liberal southern Democrats that were the party of slavery and, later, segregation in the south. It was George Wallace, not John Tower, who stood in the southern schoolhouse door to block desegregation!
