i can't Saturday games. But read recap and boxscore. It just is neat to see Howard crush the ball on to CF for 3 rbis. Manuel says he getting that Back to back HRs by Brown and mayberry nice. Kendrick now has lowest ERA of Starters 2.46. Kendrick carrer with Phillies has unlike any pitcher i can remember, i loved it last year when he said "Kendrick is that guy who just won't goaway;you think know that's it, and bang he does something to say, no better keep him. He is just 29 but this 7th season with Phils. nd he is 53-46 W-L. When his sinker is working, andhis control sharp, he can pitch gems.
We desperately needed to win these two games. We are now back to 11-14, if we had lost both we would be a scary 9-16.

This strictly twilight zone:Incredible stat: "The Phillies are 9-3 when Pettibone, Lannan or Kyle Kendrick start and 5-13 when aces Cole Hamels, Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee take the mound. So what boils down to Kendrick Lannan and Petibone have carried the team . We need sweep Marlins so we can be 16-16 going into playing rough road trip to west coast.
The season now rides on the three ONCE Aces. If we sweep Marlins, we will be 11-2 against to the two weakest teams in our divison.Max

Regards Revere trade with Twins:One Revere has always hit above 300 , he will again--and he is a WOW CF.
Worley has been a bust, he is 0-4 with a 7.22 ERA. The 9-2 i refered to is Phils record when Kendrick/Petibone and Lannan started the game. The Cleveland indians looked for real when they pounded the Phils--they have now won 6 in a row and have gone from 7-13 to 14-13--i see them as a sleeper team, along with Rockies.
