It appears a total economic collapse is the only event that can stop them. Massive unemployment doesn't seem to work. As long as there is someone else to blame (republicans, rich people, etc....) the liberals will be able to leverage off of the natural tendency for those with a teenage mentality to ignore their own participation in their lot in life. and yes, I am suggesting that liberals are stuck in mentality of a nineteen year old. The only thing that has slowed the descent into the abyss is the rule of law. And now that this is being ignored, I fear that total economic collapse is exactly what we will get. Might take a few years, but we are running out of other people's money. When that happens.....poof
