The temperature adjustments are meant to compensate for the time of day when the measurement is taken. These adjustments are needed , otherwise the results are totally meaningless. Goddard fools you by cherry picking results from 1950 for the month of APRIL. In climate science the time of day adjustments are done for each month the data averaged over a year. Averaging over a year removes a lot of noise and produces a more meaningful trend. BTW, the method of adjustments are published for all to see. There's no secrecy or booga booga. The only booga booga is the fallacies and misrepresentations posted by Goddard in his sham blog. Suckers like you eat that stuff up.
