Probably because new ones are moving in from outside the area. They're a protected species outside of wind farms.

I'm looking forward to hearing about them killing condors.

I dont like wind power. These large turbines are unsightly and ruin the countryside. I want large isolated power plants that burn fossil fuels or nuclear plants.
