I agree wholeheartedly -- the health care lobby is ok with universal care so long as it is grossly overpriced and leaves them in control -- a system like those of most other industrialized countries would NOT have served their purpose because it would reduce their centrality and bargaining power. They keep us focused on dat bad old guberment. It works every time -- it works for the NRA as well.
