I have NO IDEA what you are talking about

You seem to have collected a fair number of clear thinkers, not bad for a new guy who appears to be a bit of a whirling dervish and is sometimes hard to follow. I'm surprised you had trouble with Jorj Xs post. It takes time to get to know people enough to post without getting into all the parentheticals (alla Mq, bless his soul, I do enjoy his writing most of the time).

I'll watch a while, Bearcat, Jorj. ponokee, even my dear friend koan, what the hell.

from what you wrote there, you and I agree on this. I think you may be referring to the section in block quote that was written by Koan. My response is below his and challenges his claim that 51% of scientists are liberals and 80% lean democrat..or whatever his BS claim is.

He can provide you with a link to his proof. If you read the charter of the group of scientists, they openly admit to being a liberal organization. Therefore, they self select for liberal scientists.

To be clear, I see liberals as the "feelings" people and conservatives as the "facts" and "hard reality" people.

<<<<<< et I have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Republicans DO use actual figures and facts to prove their point. ....... Democrats are all about feeling, not facts.>>>>>>

Soooo Republicans are the party of facts and figures and democrats are the party of feelings? Yikes!!!!

Republicans by definition are the party of the status quo and the party of those of "faith". With faith you don't need facts. You accept the world around you as is and believe it is all Gods divine plan. Democrats OTOH, are far less faith based and embrace change. Science is all about change; you hypothesize and then try to prove or disprove. (Think evolution here if you are having trouble grasping the concept - the differences) .....Your ridiculous statement that GW is proven one way or the other is another case in point; you don't want there to be GW, so you dismiss all science that says there is - and rely on faith based ideologies. There is a reason most scientist lean democrat and that is they can't be square pegged into the round hole of the faith based republican ideology.
