friend, <<Can anybody suggests me if $18 is a good price for this stock ?>> I guess that in hindsight 18 would have been a good price!! TDFX exceeded my expectations today by closing above 19. Don't forget that the news today was about earnings forecast ie, speculation. Without further news there is a good chance that TDFX will drift down towards 17.5 again until the earnings anouncement - which I believe will live up to expectations. So you could get a better deal in the 2nd half of next week. I have always suffered from buying on enthusiasm rather than waiting for the excitement to ease. Always too affraid of missing the stampede! Personally, I wouldn't buy this stock above 20 unless I saw some of its competitors fall away. I sold at 18 way back in October and the stock has been wandering around in the darkness since then. Hell, this thread almost turned into a 3D game discussion for lack of news. I believe strongly in the product but am less enthusiastic about the market's confidence in the stock. 3Dfx is really hurting for a 2D/3D 3Dfx chip, but as was pointed out, that will probably emerge in '98. IMHO TDFX can, at best, hope for a slow (but steady) climb to 25ish over the next few months until they release Banshee and get the OEMs they deserve. I never feel confidant about predicting beyond a few months. These are nothing more than my unqualified opinions after following this stock for 6+ months so please don't hit me! Congratulations to those who got in low. 15 was definately a bargain! Peter S
