First off, I am not a Lib. Second, just where do you think Mexico came from and what do you think it was called under the Spanish until September 1821 when they gained their independence? (Not Cinco De Mayo - that was when they gained independence from France, the second invader, after they killed Emperor Maximilian who was foisted on Mexico by the Hapsburg Dynasty). Those towns were part of Mexico. I not only "read a freaking history book", I have taken American History in college, as well as studied the History of Mexico and many other countries.
