Tim, you mentioned a couple of days ago, and I believe rightly so that at these levels a lot of people would be dumping stock happy just to be close to breaking even. Any thoughts on how much volume is necessary to absorb that selling?
On anther topic I would be intersted if anyone on the thread is knowledgeable on the rules of pooling of interest accounting. Particularly can Lu offer a package of cash and deep in the money warrants?

Tim. Can't seem to make up your mind? This morning you said
you thought the deal would go through, but all day you have
been warning people to get out. Why would anyone want to get
out if the deal is going to go through? Seem like you are
playing both sides of the fence.

BTW: Why do you care? Your out. Your credibility on this thread
is gone.

Just my opinion, I think the buyout rumor is bogus, but I
do think ASND is still a good buy between 25 - 30.

>>>I think you should go aganist my advise and buy more since I'm always wrong on my calls, atleast that is what you have been saying.<<<

Actually, it was a few others who said you are always wrong. I simply agreed that you have been a great contrary indicator over the past couple days. I haven't posted anything that did not come from you, yourself. I'm only holding you to your own words -- there's nothing wrong with that.

I won't accumulate any more shares to my long-term position in ASND. I didn't time the bottom, but then I hardly ever do precisely, so I will simply patiently hold through good times and bad times, regardless, until the stock hits my target. I'm still taking a break from trading.

>>>LU is going to hand this to you on a silver platter and everything is great, this is a done deal it could not fall apart. Life is great and this is such a solid deal like money in the bank.<<<

I'm open-minded to any possible scenario, but I don't really give much credence to rumor-mongering. I detest them after the torturous 9 months I took in NOVL late last year to this summer. 3 IBM takeover rumors, and nothing materialized except more losses. My game plan with ASND has been consistent for many months now, and will not change regardless of what happens with this takeover speculation. I'm willing to hold ASND through 1998...I will sell at 50 anytime before then for a 50% return on my investment -- whichever comes first.

Style Pts.

Tim, I have a question for you. Do you trade any other stocks apart from ASND. I notice that at least 90% of your posts on SI are in this thread.
