I believe the hard drive companies are re-acting to increased competition (IBM) by moving at a faster pace towards technologies such as Magneto-resistive heads and GMR. This should impact JMAR revenues in a positive way in 1998 as HD manufacturers will need the high-precision disk drive head inspection workstations.

...just an opinion.

I find it incredibly amazing that the short interest in JMAR went from 7,000 to 750,000 from Oct to Nov. Funny, could the PP people have been shorting the stock?? Of course they were. When the deal was being negotiated they simply shorted the equivalent # of shares to give them a lock on their risk. In other words they immediately sold stock of 750k at a profit of 60 plus cents profit, which almost pays for the 250k they kept, plus they have the warrants to boot!!!! Funny how the shareholders weren't made aware of the deal before it was no longer a profitable transaction! I have seen for years how companies breach their fiduciary duty to shareholders over and over....This is typical , and makes me believe you must have 2 positions in a stock. A trading position and an investing position. That way you don't kick yourself too hard for having done nothing when a stock retraces 35%!!!!!!!!
