Of course they don't understand us. They don't want to. They want us to be stupid cardboard cut outs onto which (and not whom, because we aren't really people to them, just enemies) they can project their hate.

So they make up stupid positions for us- we "like" Islam, we want to encourage terrorists, we want to keep minorities down, by helping them, etc- there's no end to the stream of liquid bowel movements that stream from the mouths of the right. But we're not going to solve anything by talking to them. That's pretty clear to me. They hate us and they're not going to change.

One feature of slavery in the ancient world is that it wasn't racial. Any race could be a slave, even your own! No race was put above another.
