Grown ups are often dead, ossified lumps of carbon, wandering around accumulating things and waiting to die.

Children are still curious, flexible and interesting. The good ones remain that way, the bad ones turn in to the creatures already described above.

"What is the difference between teaching your kids and teaching grown ups?"

Speaking for myself, I think grown ups require a LOT more repetition and re-presentation of material. Younger minds paying attention can soak stuff up like a sponge.
