What? Every popular Twitter account gets loads of fake followers... but that's not the home account's fault. Those accounts are trying to get other followers of that account to follow them.
That's just to make the fake accounts look more authentic. The goal, however, is still to inflate the amount of followers for whomever bought those fake accounts.

So you tell me. Who else would profit from all those fake followers of Obama besides Obama (and those who sold the accounts, obviously)?
