Nothing at all. Being proud of who you are and where you came from is natural. BUT, denying others this same right to feel proud of who they are and where THEY came from is not right...and you should know this. I am proud to be Irish-American myself.

I have a lot more empathy with people who say they are AMERICANS. No hyphen. If anyone wants to know more, they will ask "where are your ancestors from --maybe all 16 people including the person, and all the people up through all 8 Great Great Grandparents....
