The FundManager Biringyi, that must make his clients Big Bucks, i heard say, in high squeeky voice, over 3 years ago, that his cycle chart tells him this up cycle would top at SPX 1700 and then the next down cycle will commence. My failure in life is i never do what Biringyi says (perhaps because of his high squeeky voice--i suspect he had thjroat damage in his life, his voice is surreal) .Last i looked showed SPX at new high of 1618---and all i could here was the squeeky voice of Biringyi, over 3 years ago echoing in my head /1700 then next down cycle commences tops at 1700/1700/1700. Now to see what goosed the the market today to blow through all resistance. Looks like Miners have bottom, that 25 on GDX now seems to distant.
But point of this whole post, NEVER DISREGARD Biringyi. i remember when Amazon hit about at 5(split corrected, in late 2001, he strongly recommended to load the boat on Amazon and just hold hold hold through thick and thin: hmmmm that a 40+ bagger now.(He stated they have the a can't lose business model and management--growth in internet sales would is the future---i said Bah Humbug:( i now do 90% of non everyday stuff buying via Amazon, rather than drive to the Walmarts/HomeDepot/Record Shops/Book Stores 25 miles away(In Ellsworth--major trivia answer to what is the largest City in Square miles outside of Moscow(the biggest)---answer:EllsWorth, Maine. Their philosophy run company our way(to please customers by pouring revenue into making the company more customer pleasing) and "F--k WS" has made quite a company.Max

That's it -- America steered itself this far off course just because of Greenspan and 1987? Our problems are all just a function of misguided central banking?
