All very noble but here's what really matters before you go further & preempts God liberals, conservatives & Evolution. In 1915 the world's population was just 1.8 Billion people. In 2009 the world's population was 6.8 Billion people. In the past 100 years the world's population has increased by 5 Billion people, that's only one lifetime.What are we to do with 100 more yrs of this? Somethings have been giving way in the past century , gone very awry under all these pressures of human populations, its impossible to deny. World Wars on every continent , Colonial Wars, Civil Wars, Korean War where 5mil more died. Into the Vietnam War & more millions died & the ME . An not because of godless atheists but of clear human national interests in obtaining /protecting the physical resources that sustained their economies & populations. You can bring God into the equation but in reality in every case *the source origins of all this conflict is absolutely always materially based. Nice to fantasize utopian dreams, thats a luxury of the philosopher but it is a material world seeking equilibriums on an ever expanded scale that draws all the way back to ancient tribalism leading up to the more recent colonial empires. You can pretend to rationalize it any way you wish but all draws back to basic material considerations, stability ,status quo & maintaining equilibriums, essentially keeping your people fed. (Back to the drawing board) Putting a Catholic puppet ruler in Vietnam a Buddhist country was the height of arrogance, these people were fighting simply for their independence,had already for 80yrs against the French colonials. And again here you see the underlaying motivation for the US was funding 80% of the French efforts to remain in power. Had the free elections that were proposed then taken place would have found 90% of the people voting for Ho Chi Min. The great threat that communism was taking over , a massive national conspiracy to create division of fear & look where it all lands finally?
