So how do you explain that?" Easy - it is a long way from liberal to loony. You and your friends like the Rat are plain loony - way past liberal. As for scientists - you know my mantra on that one - simply follow the money. Engineers would be a far better sample - they have to do something real.

LOL Scientists are the most informed and disciplined people around? What planet do you live on? Scientists are people just like any group in America. Some are well informed, some are not. Some are disciplined, some are not. Ascribing the rightness of American policies based on these absolutely phony baloney assumptions is twisted logic of the highest order. Besides, what poll are you looking at? One produced by one of your left leaning "I hope everyone thinks like me" studies from one of your left leaning college campuses? I doubt the poll in your head reflects reality, but even if it did, scientists come in all shapes and sizes. And liberal academia who led the racist movement in America a few decades ago, has lowered its standards so that any social scientist quack with a theory can be called a "scientist".
