Brooks, Your posts point out how unreliable analysts ratings are and that we should not depend on them for investing. The report contains a conclusion we all made in the first two minutes of looking at Deswell. The Old Deswell thread has been replaced by the current one. On it I learned most of what I know about Deswell from Paul Klemencic who was referred to it by Richard Barron ($1.00 warrants). Others, have made valuable contributions thru questions and analysis. My call to Mr. Lau was made after all of the extensive discussion over months. I felt it my duty to make the effort as payback for all the patient help they've given me. At this moment, I don't believe there's anyone at any brokerage that can make a judgement about Deswell as good as one based on the combined knowledge of those on this thread. For what it's worth, Ron
