To answer your question about how long ago i developed my model... I developed this model about 10 years ago, more or less... but it had been back tested on a day to day basis all the way back to 1982... there has never yet been a market which my model couldn't handle, this included the 1987 crash... in fact, my model was short for about 10 days prior to that crash... it was also short back in 2008 or 2009 when the recent credit crunch crash happened, and it was already short during the mini crash on May 6th I think it was in 2010...

No, conformation can only happen once during the day, and that has to be on the close... that's the very definition of a confirmation itself, that the market actually closes above the buy signal price or below the sell signal price although it can trade around that price all day...

Gold is up again this evening after expecting it to be lower... maybe a buy signal is coming again early this week...
