Yes, in fact, I have tested in on a weekly chart also (monthly also), and it does just as well, but trading off a weekly chart isn't the best way to make near term trades, the time frames are just too far and wide to make it worth the risk... if you get a sell or buy signal on a weekly chart, you could get that signal days later, maybe a week later, than you would with the daily chart, it just makes no logical sense to use a weekly chart when you want to be as close to the market as possible for these kinds of trades without getting too close...
