Palin's precise quote was: "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska." Yes, there is a small uninhabited island off the coast of Alaska where you can see Russia on a clear day. And if you remember correctly that was part of her argument for why she had strong international skills........esp as they applied to Russia. Then again, maybe you have forgotten so I will provide you with a clip of the interview with Gibson where Palin embarrassed herself in front of the entire nation: What's extraordinary are your continued attempts to defend her. There are Dem pols like Weiner who are significantly smarter and more capable than her that I would never bother to defend..........but here you are.........playing all gallant and chivalrous. That BS is hurting the country.
