You are totally wrong. And I can assure you that gun manufacturers are taking this matter damned seriously, and if they aren't they ought to be.

Any manufacturer who produces physical products will be very interested in and well served by the technology for the purpose of rapid prototyping...but the engineering challenges of producing something like a gun are beyond a 3D printer...the thermoplastics used in the process just can't hold up...even sinterable metals won't work....and the powder binders that could produce a high strength metal part will render the compound equally inadequate.

The yield/tensile strength of these materials just can't manage barrel pressure, heat, wear. What you are reading is understandable hype....

But I suspect it will. And if it won't, future versions will.

Look at the trigger in the picture...it's already broken.

Which is one of many reasons gun bans are just plain stupid.

No one is banning guns...but, just the same, the philosophy of your statement is flawed...you just don't give up a good fight just because it got harder.

This board is not for debating guns. Anybody posts anything resembling an anti-gun sentiment. You are banned without warning. This board is for freedom and Constitution loving people only.

If you are pro-tyranny and want to be a slave, find another board to play on.
