Hmm, I know of the relationship with 3DLabs (TDDDF), what kind of relationship is there with 3DFX (TDFX)? P2

WF, I think the relationship is with Diamond Multimedia for the most part and not with Creative: From the release: <Ultimately 3Dfx derives roughly three-quarters of its revenues from sales to PC manufacturers through such companies as Diamond Multimedia Systems (Nasdaq:DIMD) and Orchid Technology. Each of has introduced multimedia add-in cards incorporating 3Dfx's 3D processors for sale into the retail channel. 3Dfx formally unveiled its next-generation Voodoo 2 accelerator at the beginning of November, and it has met with rave reviews from industry insiders. However, investors weary of handicapping the fortunes of current chip leaders should fall back on a picks and shovels strategy of investing in the board makers.> DIMD is up on the day.
