One day the Solar system will cease to exist. Between today, and that day, Monsanto will provide investors with a good return. Nothing lasts forever, and Monsanto is not immune from the many things that can befall a good company. I do believe that Monsanto is well positioned not only to survive, but to prosper. The Monsanto hate helps the Monsanto investor, much like Philip Morris/tobacco hate helped the Philip Morris investor. Have a nice day.

One day the company will evaporate over night... you can take it to the bank. It has been almost 2 years now, and Monsanto hasn't evaporated yet. You were right about one thing though, I will have to go to the bank if Bayer is successful in acquiring Monsanto, which I think they will be. I don't think this is what you meant by Monsanto evaporating overnight, however.
