RED ALERT RED ALERT RED ALERT

To all share holders on this thread.

It is as good as certain that VISHAY will announce next week the aquisition of the TEMIC semiconductor operations from Daimler Benz.
TEMIC includes Siliconix (SILI).
The sales price is likely to be higher than VISHAY's turnover (this is a guess). Eitherway, VISHAY is probably going to have to come up with a large chunk of capital, which if borrowed, is not going to do much for their stock price in the near term.
Details of Temic and SILI you can find on the net.
Temic fyi has long been deep red in total, although SILI has been doing well. This year the group may scrape into the black. Reason can probably be contributed to top heavy managment and high overheads, so it is not a bad candidate for a turn-around. Once again, its near term stock price does not bode well
