re -- Please keep in mind that Compaq has not started using AMD K6 yet, just evaluating as I understand. Don't be too optimistic

All the statements seem to indicate that that CPQ will come out with the new lines in jan - that means that they must be in the channel now and evaluation have been done already.

Also I think CPQ has had chips K6 chips for close to 10 months now - the time for evaluation is past.........

or are you talking about .25um chips?
