Satish,
Re -- Now as a hardware engineer, if OS works, 99 or so other programs work fine and then comes along IE 4.0

I suggest you stick with hardware. The internet browser is THE reason people buy the low cost PC. If you don't believe me, try running some of the video intensive 3D games on it (Its real Slow)

So if the main program does not work, of what use is it. Furthermore, the OS that you so generally classify, has different components, such as graphics drivers.. This effectively makes the OS on the low quality Cyrix chips, a DIFFERENT OS, with all the implications of that.

Once again. STICK with Hardware..

Satish, microsoft had the download on their web..not cpq.
I think when the stink came out , it said that too.

Whose got the IE4.0 and presario press releases??

If you work together , we can make money on cpq...
doesn't mean we have to agree but it doesn't mean we need to be sane and post facts.
relevant facts...plus, after me beat the horse we need to move on..
I'm positive you agree with this...it's a post to the thread.
