Very interesting about the SEC considering SI posting "public disclosure", it's logical and imho inevitable but a bit surprising that they recognize it so quickly?

" I'm not in favor of allowing company people, IR people or other paid hypists to post on the regular threads..."

Jeffrey, I see a major distinction between direct overt company presence here, imho a Good Thing to be encouraged, and covert paid touting, imho a Despicable Thing, a cause for derision. That's why I started up this thread, "Companies Whose Management Post to SI";

exchange2000.com

....and this one, "Paid Touts and Shills Who Post to SI" -g-;

exchange2000.com

....which at first glance would seem to have enormous potential for flame wars, but I expect to capture some humour, if it doesn't peter out completely.... Would you like to come over to the first one, "Companies...", and tell us why you think company reps shouldn't post?

Btw, thanks a lot for post #390 on the "Test your HTML..." thread, I printed it out and use those <alt> symbols a lot when making only a few Spanish characters, it's easier than changing the keyboard over to espa¤ol. Do you remember where you got them from? (only 127 to 255 are showing)

........... cheers ............... marcos
