Geoff, Short lived? I don't think so. I got stung twice. Once I waited to get in till after the split, never thinking it would go up so much. Then it finally split, and I waited for it to go down after the split. Big deal, it went down 10 pts, and eventually took off. The next time, I sold before they announced the split. Short lived it wasn't either. I don't even want to add up all the increases I missed. For Dell, its a big deal. For Berk, maybe not.
