Outside of Streit, Visnovsky, Nabakov and Boyes, the Isles are a very young team. Confidence has been a big issue in the past. The Isles are a fast skating team that forechecks well. The Isles big weakness is defense. That is why they drafted 7 defensemen in the draft last year in 7 rounds. They also need a better younger goalie. Perhaps Nielson if he can stay healthy. I like him better than Poulin.
Isles have stockpiled lots of great young talent in AHL. They will only get better. Ryan Strome is a future star.

I have met and spoken with many of the Isles. They are extremely nice down to earth youngsters (early 20s).

You pooh poohed the Isles all season. As for the S&P, it has upside potential to 2000. That is no great shakes. The upside potential of the junior gold Miners is at least 300 percent from current levels. Of course, just about everyone these days is obsessed with getting yield from bubilicious defensive issues. But that trade is getting very long in the tooth. A transformation or rotation is on the horizon.
