I don't know whether it is true, but do you actually find this to be a good thing? That since Obama's election, the racial divide is growing as though we were back to the 1850s?

I don't. I think it is unhealthy as hell. But I also think this president is responsible for it. Racism is something that really ought to stay in the past.
