LOL, that could mess with some of the greentard minds here in Northern California ...

Still, it's more efficient to burn the coal in a power plant, then transmit the power to an electric car, than it is to burn the oil in a car engine.

Or if you don't like coal, there's always natural gas, which we seem to be finding a lot more of within the 48 (or 57) states.

But if you don't like fossil fuels in general, you're out of luck. Charging up a Tesla using solar power might take a while ...
