I didn't know mannie lived in Seattle. That would be great. I will contact him. If I beat the game I will buy him a lobster dinner. I'll buy him a lobster dinner even if I don't beat the game-lol.

Your story sort of mirrors mine. Last purchase I made of PM's was physical silver a few weeks ago. That was right before it plunged-lol. But at least I have it.

I am not quite ready to buy a place. I have to close one of two big deals before I can do it. A rental condo I own (I am waiting for a little more appreciation) or a large tract of land we are negotiating. I will make a special trip when that happens. It will be a condo in Corvallis.

Then next year I will sell my duplex and move down.

But our market is really really tight. About five viable condos left and nothing to rent and hundreds of people moving in. We also have virtually no land left to build on. Prices are rising really fast and we have almost no inventory.

I am really wondering how our real estate market is going to end up?
