No. A typical five-year old cannot make this decision. That is utterly absurd. It is a highly abstract (perhaps the most abstract) thought process for a five-year old to entertain. To suggest that at that age a person can even begin to comprehend how this could be, the implications of gender identity problems, or cogently differentiate these "feelings" -- that's ridiculous.
