then, you might consider covered call positions, maybe deep in the money... those are relatively safe...

I had my finger on the SLV buy button several times today, especially near the end of trading, but your comment stopped me:

I don't see any capitulation yet in the gold, still too many bottom pickers getting too comfortable... and with the dollar continuing higher, I don't see how gold could run away or go very far without running into more selling along the way...
I would normally have picked up my first piece of SLV, but your comment echoed thru my dense noggin! You talked me away from playing momentum, like I usually do, and go with your opinion instead. I have much more regard for your trading acumen than my own.
