There are two correlations one cannot argue with:

1) The more education one has, the more money they make in their lifetime. It is an almost perfect correlation.

2) The wages of people rise and fall with the number of unions. It is also an almost perfect correlation.

I know at least one person, maybe more, that were employees of the first Whole Foods Market, which started in Austin, Texas. The one guy I know was a total dreadlocked hippie, he was a bagger, got granted some of those first Whole Foods Market stock options, and is a millionaire today. 2 bucks to 96 bucks, and who knows how many splits.
