I just found out myself a few weeks back when I lamented that I couldn't write against the stock because I didn't have enough to ease in and out of a position. My brother asked why I wasn't trading the minis...

Watched the stock drop big time yesterday. Considering an ATM Buy-Write. Better than 2% if called on an 8 day contract. Not sure when I'll enter into the contract. If broader market goes south, AAPL could get really cheap. None of that will change the fact that they're paying 12 bucks in dividend and doing a $60B buyback.

Sold some MET 44 and EXPD 40 calls this week for good money. MET I bought at $29, with some ATM Puts last summer. EXPD came by way of a buy-write at 39, and a few rounds of calls that expired since.

Good luck

Buying RDS/A around $63. that gives me a 5.7% Dividend, and I'm planning to write the call once I see $65. Worst case I make %.90 every quarter. Should be a fairly safe Covered Call.

Had my MET 44s called, and all of my FB24s. I bought more than half at 22.90 and wrote the $24 a few weeks out for around 6% return. Good money to be made on FB, but I don't see it as safe as RDS/A. Considering SLB for a buy write; good money there as well.

Good luck to all
