James, I am not worried about the competition. These companies may have a little more media attention; however, it's all in the product and the quality of the product. Aplio has received a great deal of attention lately, but this is a very revealing snippet from their web site.

<<Operating Aplio/Phone is very easy. Simply plug your phone into the small desktop unit and plug the unit into the wall jack. When you're ready to make a call, simply dial the call as usual. Then once you've established contact with your party, press one button on the Aplio/Phone and hang up. In about 45 seconds (usually less) your phone will ring. You may then continue your conversation. The only difference is that you'll be communicating via the Internet. It's so simple it's almost magic.>>

45 sec.'s, a separate unit(not a PC, but their version of a phone) that doesn't sound like magic to me, nor do they sound like competition. IDTC may amount to something, so could vocaltech, but I agree. They had better keep up with the advancing tech(ATM, Temp?) or they will find themselves falling behind and fast.

Evan

James, I hope Frank and Helen will send a rep. to this conference at the Internet World show.

It should be a good place to see the competition and where we are in respect to them. Not to mention a nice place to do a little stumping and get the name out to people interested in Internet Telephony.

This site has a wealth of information. The more I read about the comp., the better I feel about Franklin.
