Double click the green icon and select 'update' then click 'update' when finished, click the 'home' tab and select 'quick' under scan options upper right click 'scan now' and leave the computer alone for half an hour It will tell you when it's finished and whether it found anything malicious. please report back here what happened PS: thecow probably wanted a clean break and no extended goodbys.
