Zimmerman followed him. That does not mean he started a fist fight with him. In fact, Zimmerman had a gun and therefore had no reason to instigate a physical confrontation.

It's quite obvious that Trayvon didn't like being followed and so he started the fist fight. But he chose the wrong man to beat up this time.
