Dutch IT takeover failed because of Y2K
Today it was announced on Dutch TV and in newpapers that a major takeover of the IT firm Roccade by IT firm Getronics (both dutch firms) was cancelled. The two firms could not agree on specific terms in the take-over contract.

It was said on TV (but denied by Dutch government) that the main reason was possible liability for possible Y2K failures in systems maintened by Roccade. Roccade is the main IT supplier of the dutch government.
