Bentway, I bet you would never hold an umbrella for a black man.

You dumbass, you don't think Obama had to ASK that Marine to hold the umbrella for his Commander 'n Chief, do you?

I challenge you to find one post of mine anywhere on SI in which I called someone with whom I disagree a personal, derogatory name.

Yet it is difficult to find a post of yours, in which you are debating someone with whom you disagree, in which you don't.

Observations:

(1) A debator loses clout when he resorts to name-calling over issues.

(2) Many (although, of course, not all ... you see, I do not resort to stereotyping either) leftists, when left with no reliable debate weapons, fitfully play the trusty name-calling card (and 'racist' appears to be the card-ju-jour).

(3) No, I do not believe that Obama asked for a Marine to hold the umbrella for him. But whoever was in charge of the logistics of the press conference did. And most of his advisors/assistants hold the military is as low esteem as the commander-in-chief does. Ask yourself why you never saw this occur during the Reagan years.

Done debating you now. It's been fun.
