According to the quarterlies for the 2nd and 3rd quarters, the number outstanding is 6,465,134 shares. The number for 1996 is 5,966,026.

I think the news release says that BC agrees to comply with requirements to register stock according to SC regs as well as complying with the regs of other states.

I can see why the locals who bought stock would be upset. They still haven't collected on their interest promised.

Charles

Carl, I think a lot of it must be put in context by date. Some of it I'm sure was to raise cash to keep things going in the leaner times before the reengineering of the machine was completed. I don't see any parrellel with the O'Brien deal and the Newsweek article as you seem to. And the amounts of stock involved do not appear to have had any appreciable dilutive effect. I'll let others comment on Bill C's "previous background".

Looks like mostly old history (of some mistakes for sure) that have now been resolved. Puts Bill C. on notice to provide "just the facts" going forward, a mode GOE has been in since May.
