Marines are trained to serve the president who is their Commander in Chief. EOS. Their job is NOT to serve the President. Their job is to serve the country. He is supposed to direct them on how to do that. He is their commander in chief. He orders them how they can best serve this country. If that's to hold the umbrella for him, that's his prerogative. Deal with it! Exactly where do you draw the line? Should a Marine blow his nose for him? Wipe his butt for him? Light his cigarette for him? How many other things should the Marines do that he is perfectly capable of doing for himself? I guess holding the umbrella is good enough but thanks for the suggestions. And let me add.........I can't not believe how petty you all can get. You should be embarrassed. Sadly, you are not aware enough to feel that emotion.
