Obama appears to have no culpability in the IRS affair. But it is going to eat away at him for months, possibly years because it is the IRS and everyone hates them and a lot of people fear them. I've seen that fear on the faces of people who have received threatening notices, and from people whose property has been levied. Lots of people believe they've been persecuted by IRS, though few have been. And they're going to be even more intimately involved with our affairs as Obamacare is implemented.

In the case of AP, it depends on whether the media's "outrage" subsides quickly in favor of its ideology.

Benghazi will be around for a long, long time.

Obama, if he gets by with it, will have used all three of his Get Out of Jail Free cards. And for an administration that operates constantly in a corrupt manner, he needed to hang on to those as long as possible. He won't get three more shots at it, and at his rate, he'll need them this year.
