Stockman - Just curious as to why you are so down on Cyrix chips and keep calling CPQ machines with the chip crap? Are you short CPQ stock or do you have some beef with Cyrix, or what?? Anyway, all the name calling is not of much help in determining where CPQ's stock price is headed!

John

PS - I guess one could call the Chrysler Neon with the same word, (okay Neon drivers, don't all attack me at once!!), but Chrysler does just fine, especially since they have high margin products like the Grand Cherokee!!

Stockman, I believe CPQ sells sub-$1000 PCs with Pentium chips. I don't understand your posts . JK

Other than the GX crap, does Compaq even sell a sub $1000 complete PC ?

Stockman

{"Thus the point that CPQ's "sub-1000 pc's" are of lower quality than DELL's "sub-1000" pcs.

Stockman"}

What sub $1000 Dell PCs ????????????? JK
