The reality, Al, is that your president is leading an administration that is so corrupt and incompetent it is now paralyzed. They got away with this bullshit for 4 years, and suddenly, the wheels have come off. This kind of incompetence can be hidden for a time, he's now under the microscope and it just looks terrible. Serve the interests of the country? I suppose it depends on how you define "the country". If you mean those with pull in the Republican party, then yes. No one else really counts.With the Right, it is all about power. Because when they have control, they can loot the country with impunity. When they finally drain it dry, they can move somewhere else and spend the rest of their days moaning how the socialists ran the country in to the ground with out ever acknowledging it was really they who did it. It is just what sociopaths do. It is never their fault.
