Beats me MARC...Anybody watching a Level II screen might know which MM was holding back INTC today. I can tell you though that the stock is being accumulated, big time!!! good luck...invest wisely - long-term, that is. //dom

At this stage I doubt if anybody( including Intel management) knows whether earnings will meet expectations or not. With build to order becoming more popular, a lot of box makers don't even order the microprocesor until thay get a buy order from the customer. There are still more than 3 weeks left in the month. The stock is down because of fears, not facts. The fears may turn out to be correct, but they are still just an educated guess at this point. I believe that Intel will warn in advance if there is going to be a significant shortfall. There doesn't appear to be a lot of hope built into INTC price so a 2 or 3 pennies short will not have a prologed effect, IMHO.
